Why can't TPU-laminated fabrics achieve both a 20,000 mm waterproof rating and a 15K breathability rating?
A high waterproof rating means the fabric can keep water from penetrating under pressure. But breathability means allowing air to pass through the fabric.
These two requirements seem a bit contradictory to me.
Any experts here who can shed some light on this? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
