Specific Requirements:
Performance: Hydrostatic head ≥ 10,000mm, Breathability ≥ 10,000 g/m²/24h.
Eco-Compliance: PFC-free DWR (C0 coating) or recycled membrane (GRS / OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified).
Hand-feel: Matte, soft cotton-touch or recycled polyester/nylon blend (avoiding noisy rustling sound).
MOQ: Small batch production friendly (800–500m per colorway) with initial A4 sample swatches / 5m sample yardage available.
Does anyone have recommended mills or suppliers who specialize in high-performance eco-textiles with lower MOQs? Appreciate any leads or swatch book suggestions!

I’m exploring ways to modernise heavy wool outerwear without turning it into a stiff plastic-feeling garment:
What are the best lightweight, breathable windproof linings (e.g., 2-layer ultra-thin TPU or soft wind-stop barrier) that won't distort the drape of structured tweed coats?
Has anyone had success applying bio-based water-repellent sprays/treatments to raw or recycled wool yarns prior to weaving/knitting without affecting the natural softness and breathability?
Would love to hear how other heritage or outdoor designers balance traditional natural fibers with modern weatherproofing techniques!
